Frank Justus Miller was a leading American classicist, translator, and university administrator in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He served as interim president of Shimer College from 1896 to 1897. He authored the Loeb Classical Library translations of Seneca and of Ovid's Metamorphoses, was president of the American Classical League 1922-1934, and served as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Chicago 1911-1923.
