It was at her engagement party that Raine met the forceful Greek Darius Kallergis, who announced there and then that he wanted her and intended to have her - and as a result ruined her chances of a rich and titled husband. Furious, she determined to be revenged on him. And so here she was in Greece, living in a beautiful house in fabled Delphi, surrounded by every luxury and comfort, the wife of a rich and handsome man with whom, belatedly, she had fallen in love.
