A history of one of the three volunteer cavalry units raised to fight the Spanish-American War. (One of the others was the Rough Riders regiment) This particular unit was raised by a politician named Grigsby. The unit never saw action in the war, but the book is a quick read and details the buildup to war and describes camp life for the volunteer soldiers.
