Memoir of Prior: v. 1, p. [xvii]-lxii.

Dedication to Lionel, earl of Dorset and Middlesex [first published in 1718 with the author's Poems on several occasions] is signed Mat. Prior, and contains a eulogy on Charles Sackville, 6th earl of Dorset.

Includes "Love and friendship: a pastoral by Mrs. Elizabeth Singer" (v. 1, p. 52-54) and "Ode sur la prise de Namur, par les armes du roy, l'annee MDCXCII. Par monsieur Boileau Despreaux" with Prior's "An English ballad on the taking of Namur by the king of Great Britain, MDCXCV" (v. 1, p. 72-85)
