Book Details
First Sentence
"On the southern coast of England where Cornwall meets Devonshire lies the Parish of Wembury. You can still walk on the path that Thomas Hensleigh took fromhis home, Spirewell, to New Barton Farm where Ann Walters lived. You can walk, as they would have, along the path to Wembury Church where they worshiped, and on to Plymouth, about four miles. In Plymouth Harbor you can see steps worn by the boots of Sir Frances Drake, Captain Cook, and all the other Englishmen who sailed from Plymouth. You can buy a map which shows the network of footpaths crisscrossing Wembury. Spirewell and New Barton Farm are located on the map."
