Edition Notes

Vols.3-5 bear the imprint "printed for T. Becket and P. A. de Hondt"; vols.3, 4 are dated 1772, vol.5 1774.

Vols.4, 5 are dated MCCCLXXII & MCCCLXXIV respectively; misprint for 1772 & 1774.

Vols.3-5 translated by "the gentleman who translated The captives", i.e. Richard Warner.

With 'The merchant' translated by George Colman, and 'The life of M. Accius Plautus, translated from Petrus Crinitus', translated by R. Warner.

The whole edited by Richard Warner.
