A tragic romance. Mr. Phillip Sandhurst takes a younger woman to be his wife, Danae. she had been under the care of Mr. Gabriel Brandis since the time of her parents death. Mr. Sandhurst is a successful lumberman and Mr. Brandis seeks to ruin him and take away his fortune and his property through lies and half truths. Mr. Sandhurst is forced to leave his young wife to keep her from being destroyed by the lies of Mr. Brandis.
