"No copies of this book are genuine but what are signed by Edmond Hoyle and Thomas Osborne".

The treatise on quadrille is of the 2nd. edition, dated 1748, and those on piquet and backgammon are both of the 3rd. edition, dated 1748.

Text continuous despite pagination.

With two final leaves of advertisements.

The treatise on whist is a reissue of the sheets of the tenth edition of 1750, with a cancel titlepage dated 1755.

Includes treatises on quadrille, piquet and backgammon.
