Two illustrations are with signature: "A. Reid. Del.". Others are unsigned.
Publishers' and general advertisements on p. [1]-16 at end.
MASS copy: Bound in green fine diagonal rib-grain cloth blocked in black and gold. With cream glazed endpapers. With prize label : "[VR Monogram] Science and Art Department of the Committee of Council on Education. School of Art. Chiswick. Third Grade Prize. Presented to Louisa Manville-Fenn for success in the Advanced Section of the Course of Instruction in Art. By Order of the Lords of the Committee of the Privy Council on Education. 1885.". Bound wih original pale blue paper wrappers printed in black. Upper wrapper printed with version of t.p. including series title: "South Kensington Museum Art Handbooks". Lower wrapper and inside of upper and lower wrappers printed with general advertisements. Includes additional page of blue wrapper paper between upper wrapper and p. [i], printed on recto only in black with advertisement for "Edwin Parsons & Sons, Fine Art & General Book & Printsellers". With embossed stamp: "Department of Science and Art Reward".
