The tyranny of testing.

Foreword by Jacques Barzun.

Hoffmann’s critique of multiple-choice testing is not at all outdated. Hoffmann, who collaborated with Albert Einstein, draws many of his examples from science achievement tests and explains things clearly in very simple language.
