Probably written in Great Britain.
The pages are numbered up to p. 53 by the writer; thereafter they are numbered in modern pencil. Six blank leaves at the beginning are not included in the page count nor are the stubs of 6 leaves excised at the end.
Paper has same watermark as in Bitting manuscript cookery books no. 7 and 10.
