Title-page bears Ralph Newbery's printer's device, with motto 'Desir n'a repos' and date '1586' (McKerrow 240, with his note: 'I have been unable to ascertain whose arms or crest this device represents'); 'Errata' note on verso of final leaf.
According to the DNB, this is the second edition ( the first was publised in 1586), 'which besides other additions is distinguished by an index, [and] issued, in the same size, in 1587'.
Separate, sectional title-page , on 2 O1r, reads: 'Hiberniae, et Insularum Britanniae Adiacentium descriptio: Authore Guilielmo Camdeno Londinense', and bears title vignette (McKerrow 240) and imprint: 'Londini, Per Radulphum Newbery. Cum gratia & privilegio Regiae Maiestatis. 1587'; pagination is continuous with main body of text.
Following text: list of 'Nomina Antiqua', and 'Rerum memorabilium Index'.
