MASS copy 1: Bound in blue morocco-grain cloth blocked in gold and blind, with central sunken panel design and spine signed "JL" [i.e. John Leighton]; a.e.g. Binding design identical to McLean O 393. For a later use of the same spine design, see Thomson's 'The Seasons and Castle of indolence', published in 1857 by James Blackwood (McLean O 608). With the binder's ticket: "Bound by Leighton Son and Hodge". From the library of Alan Suddon.
