First Edition with MCMVI (1906) on the title page, in Green pictorial cloth stamped in green, brown, black, and white (off white?) and the title author and publishers name stamped in gilt on cover and spine. With 8 unsigned color illustrations tipped in. This issue has no catalog at the rear of the book. Other binding variants are know to exist (some in red cloth). Some variants have a catalog added. I have seen two issues cataloged in the red cloth, each had a different 8 page catalog bound in the rear of the book.
