[Letter to] Dear Garrison

Wendell Phillips writes to William Lloyd Garrison that H.G. Underwood is a friend of Garrison's son, Francis. Phillips states that Underwood will be studying law in Washington, and that Garrison should inquire of Underwood to have a better understanding of the latter's goals and the manner in which Garrison might assist him in their pursuit.
