Ownership stamp on front free endpaper: "Albert Burckhardt, Dr. med., Basel." [possibly Albert Burckhardt (1854-1911), Basel historian and museum curator, but more likely Prof. Dr. med. Albrecht Eduard Burckhardt (1853-1921), Basel medical historian].
