Recently widowed, Father Tom Christmas would do almost anything to avoid the Thornford Regis annual Robert Burns Supper. But as chaplain to a traditional Scottish pipe band, he must deliver the grace and contend with wailing bagpipes, whiskey-laced parishioners, and the culinary abomination that is haggis. As snow falls, the revelers carry on - briefly interrupted by a stranger seeking shelter - until piper and hotel proprietor Will Moir goes missing.
