Too young to die was Tina Rogers-too young, too fair, too girlishly appealing. But she was also too young to be mixed up in the rackets! Or so Carl Good figured, especially after Tina had saved him from on of the neatest frame-ups ever hung on a private eye--involving a murder, a pretty widow and a pocketful of morphine!

True, little Tina confined herself to the milder larcenies, such as picking pockets and stealing hearts. But Carl learned shw was a pawn in a bigger game--a vicious racket that operated in the name of "charity", using pretty young things such as herself for solicitors.

So Carl fought desperately for Tina's life and his own, taking on hoods like Samp Constantine, dangerous con-men like Dr. Dick, shysters like Morrie Tannen, even misled cops like Sgt. Peters. Carl knew Tina was not the big operator they were--but right down to the wire, he found her just as much of a menace!
