"This little Bulletin will be issued - monthly, for the present - for the benefit, primarily, of those in the various branches of the public land service. It is intended to fill a place not covered by the regular circulars and decisions, and give information more in the nature of "news" of the service, to the end that the widely separated personnel and departments of our work may be brought in to closer touch with each other and the G.L.O."--no. 1, p. 1.
