An edition of Neistovye dzhokery (2013)

Neistovye dzhokery

Mosaic novel set in the world of the Wild cards shared universe series. Martin edited together the individual storylines contributed by himself and 6 other authors to make a single novel-length story. The action takes place September 15, 1986 on the 40th anniversary of the release of the so-called "wildcard virus" (Xenovirus Takis-A), which is observed as Wild Card Day and celebrated or cursed depending on the individual's reaction to the virus. This day, the Aces of New York City are being stalked by the evil Astronomer who is seeking revenge on the Aces who beat him in the previous novel. Contributing authors: Leanne C. Harper, Lewis Shiner, John J. Miller, Edward Bryant, Melinda M. Snodgrass, Walton Simons, George R.R. Martin.
