"The purpose of this book is maybe to provide a first comprehensive overview of Katinke Bock's work than to combine the attempts of several writers at sorting out its elements and determining what they are, and how they relate to one another. Three essays comprise this volume, each based on a specific way of organizing a general picture of the work, of deciding where to place the foci. The prose of the texts is various, sometimes it is abstract and argumentative, sometimes more inward and impressionistic but always, it is discursive as it pursues the very subject of Bock's work, which is that thinking is a social conduct, maybe the most consequential of social acts."
