Work Description
Outlaw gang leader Curly Ben Clovis has heard about shipments of silver being stored at the town of Hashknife in southern Colorado. Shot and badly wounded in a failed holdup, Clovis sends his Lieutenant, Jim Kane, to suss out the best way of seizing the valuable haul once he has recovered. Kane is mistaken for the new lawman and quickly calculates that assuming the guise of Marshal Jonas Kelly will put him in a more favourable position to organise the proposed robbery. Little does the outlaw realise the quandary in which he will become embroiled and he is forced to make choices, the outcome of which will lead to double dealing and bloodshed.
