Edition Notes

Scrapbook documenting activities of the architectural firm Little & Browne, Architects. Original drawings are, for the most part, by G.P. Fernald. The overriding theme seems to be colonial American architecture. There are, in addition, several sketches of Count Rumford House (so called), Woburn, Mass., and the Tyson House, South Berwick, Me. Includes several drawings by Ogden Cadman.

Original photographs, reproductions, clippings and drawings mounted over souvenir album with cover title: The Leading hotels, rail roads, and steamboat lines of the United States : illustrated / published and printed by the Forber Lithograph Manufacturing Co., Boston, Mass. Page originally mounted over cover is wanting. Following leaves have pictures detached: [1]v, [3]r, [21]v, [22]r, [40]v, [41]v, [42]v, [67]v, [69]r, [76]r, and cover p. [3]. Following leaves have one or two pictures detached but at least one remaining: [17]r, [27]v, [32]v, [39]v, [40]r, [41]r, [57]r, [57]v, and [88]r. Following leaves are blank (no prints ever mounted over them): [76]v, [77]v-[87]r, and [88]v-[91]r. Drawing on leaf [91]v drawn on paper of album. Many leaves show evidence of previous use as scrapbook.
