Gershon Brin is Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies in the Department of Biblical Studies at Tel Aviv University. His research deals with biblical prophecy, biblical law, medieval commentary, and the scrolls of the Judean Desert. His last three books deal with Byzantine commentary and begin in 2012 with the essay "Reuel and His Friends" based on manuscripts from the Cairo Genizah. --online translation service.
