In order to evade stamp duty, each number has an individual title.
A series of 34 pamphlets, published weekly 9 Oct. 1830-14 May 1831. Goldsmiths' Library printed catalogue gives the date of the first issue as: 4 May 1830.
Some parts are from Hone's tracts and other similar publications; some with woodcuts by George Cruikshank.
Decided by the court to be a periodical, liable to stamp duty.
