Rare Book copy: In contemporary French binding of full white goatskin, sewn on five recessed supports; upper and lower covers with an interlacing design tooled in gold and brown with crescent-shaped inlays of red leather (calf?); smooth spine with gilt lettering; inner joint of white goatskin; doublures of red suede; marbled free endpapers lined with red suede; all edges gilt; red and white silk endbands; signed "Georges Cretté at the tail end of the upper turn-in; housed in a half purple goatskin folder contained in a slipcase with decorated paper sides and tipped with purple goatskin.
