Portfolio includes six lithographs: I. Open the gates, open the gates, II. Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain, III. There is no peace, IV. ...and floods clap their hands, V. Let them beat their swords into plowshares, VI. ...and under his wing he will give you refuge.
Portfolio's poem, "The Gates of justice" has twelve sections: I. Lord, the heavens cannot contain thee, II. Oh, come let us sing, IIIa. Open the gates, IIIb. Open the gates chorale, IVa. & b. Except the Lord build the house, V. Lord, Lord, VI. Ye shall be holy, VII. Shout unto the Lord, VIII. When I behold thy heavens, IX. How glorious is thy name, X. The Lord is good, XI. His truth is a shield, XII. Oh come, let us sing a new song.

Issued in a cloth-covered portfolio box with a frontispiece of one page of the Dave Brubeck composition in facsimile.

The portfolio contains six lithographs, all 38 x 28 cm. (15 x 11 in.) titled by the artist, in pencil, at lower center

Limited edition portfolio signed by Colker and Brubeck on the colophon.
