The edited text (p. [13]-36, Vita del beato Costabile Lucano) is the Italian translation made in 16th century by Alessandro Rodolfi [Ridolfi] of Ugo's Latin Vita s. Constabilis abbatis.
Includes an appendix (p. [37]-56) of Latin documents, chiefly from the 12th-13th cent., relating to the Cava monastery and its maritime activities.
