Consists of specially bound text volume with photographs printed offset (also issued by itself, 1000 copies softbound, as "trade ed.", ISBN 1892733137), and album of selected photographs (printed as photogravures or planographs), with letterpress half title and title, contents, title leaves, signed limitation statement, and colophon. The text volume is designated "first edition"; as issued in the Deluxe and Museum editions it has no ISBN.

Publishers's description (from 21st Web site, Jan. 2005): "The signed and numbered Deluxe edition includes 10 hand-pulled photogravures, 6 full-color planographs [selected from the images in the text volume] and 44 additional color plates [i.e. the rest of the images in the text volume]. It is hand bound in Japanese silk and encased in a custom box. ... The signed and numbered Museum edition, in addition to the hand-bound book, includes a separate portfolio of 16 unbound and fully signed photogravures and planographs. It is hand bound in Japanese silk and Moroccan goatskin and is also encased in a custom box. ... Printed in offset, the soft-bound Trade edition includes all of the writing and the 60 images found in the above volumes."
