As is announced on the page, Kelly McCabe appears in Equations as Kathy Meckenwell. She also appears as Kathy Meckenwell in Letters to Dead Masters. This piece, #17, was added to the book Equations, and to the PennSound edition of Equations, in 2023. The attached photo of the author was taken by Kelly McCabe in State College, Pennsylvania, in 1994, on the grounds of the North Halls dormitories, where they both lived then.

Work Description

Equations, by American poet Adam Fieled, is a voyage in prose into expressed sexuality and human relationships, in dialectic form. It was originally released in print by Blue & Yellow Dog Press in 2011; the second print edition, also from Blue & Yellow Dog Press, appeared in 2018. In 2021-23, nine Equations were added to the thesis portion of the book, and the 2023 edition placed in its entirety on PennSound.
