Artist and architect Rodolfo (Rolo) Sorondo has created a mosaic mural entitled "Sur, paredón y después..." (South, wall and after...) in front of the main entrance of the public building of the Metropolitan Design Center (CMD) located in the district of Barracas in the city of Buenos Aires. The elaboration of the mural was organized by the Architecture Area of the CMD with the coordination and participation of the Creative Inclusion Area, under the auspice of the tile and ceramic company Weber Saint-Gobain, and with the support of the neighbors who gave permission for its construction. The mural is an allegorical work inspired in the spirit of the neighborhood, recalling local cultural and sporting and is the first of a series of interventions to be carried out on the facades of the houses that are in the access to the main entrance of the CMD.
