This is a story about a whale who swims around the world and bumps into each of the continents. When he does a host of animals unique to that continent come down to greet him and he takes one along for the ride except for the seal. "I'm a whae and swish my tail and swim around the world." When he bumps into a continent he opens his "great big enormous mouth and shouts WHAT LAND IS THIS??" Take me take me says the walabee. Kachoo said the kinkacho. Here I come look out for me, sliding down the iceberg WEE! Wonderfully illustrated with maps of all the continents and names and illustrations of all the various animals. Start and two!! The dust jacket has a lot of animals on it. The book is green and hardbound with a whale swimming around the map of the world.
