The Pintura sabia, originally writen for the author's pupil, the Duquesa de Béjar, is edited from the manuscript belonging to Felix Boix. It consists of an epitome of geometry and treatises on perspective, the different architectural orders and anatomy. Plates I-CXXXIII of v. 1 are facsimile reproductions of the t.-p. and drawings of the manuscript.
