Title vignette; initials.
The first of the six books published at Cracow from 1584 to 1590. Books 7-10 mentioned in the "Exhortatio" on verso of t.-p., never appeared in print. According to Wadding, Scriptores Ordinis minorum, Romae, 1906, the commentary (consisting of a series of treatises enumerated on p. 109-111) includes the Graeco-Latin text of Flussas (F. Foix de Candale, Bvrdigatæ, 1574) The fourth book with the comprehensive sub-title "De coelo" contains--interspersed within the treatises--passages selected from various treatises of the Poemander in Latin translation (differing from that of Flussas)
