A reprint of John Dickinson's "Letters from a farmer in Pennsylvania", first published in 1768 together with Arthur Lee's "Monitor's letters," no. 1-10. The preface is attributed to Richard Henry Lee by the Sowerby.
Pages 34-36 repeated in pagination. The Monitor has special half t.p.
Signatures: pi1 A-K² ²K² L-P²(+chi1) Q-2B².
"The Liberty song": p. [98] by John Dickinson.
LC copy has initials of Thomas Jefferson on p. 29 and p. 71. Jefferson supplied name of author's on title pages of both titles.
