Edition Notes

By Benjamin P. Derouchie - See all my reviews

This is the second book I read from Casey Sherman. His first was "A Rose For Mary" was an amazing piece of work detailing the search for the killer of his Mother's Sister Mary who was killed in downtown Boston back in the 60's. Now his second book which I just finished takes you through the lives of two twin Irish brothers and their plight to avenge their Parents death. He is an amazing writer that pays attention to the details and does a great job developing his characters using historical factual information. I would compare his style to that of Tom Clancy but I believe Casey Sherman may even surpass him one day in notoriety. I can't wait for his next book.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE MOVIE VERSION, May 11, 2007

The bloody conflict in Northern Ireland is the primary setting for Casey Sherman's exciting account of twin boys, Michael and Vincent Logan, who have been separated after losing their parents in a brutal attack. Their exploits replete with danger and a host of interesting characters moved the story quickly along as I looked forward to their inevitable reunion. Reaching manhood their opposing views on dealing with the vicious gunmen who have destroyed their family threaten their relationship as well as their safety. This page turner really heats up as Michael, determined to have his revenge and Vincent, desperate to stop him, travel to the Kennedy Compound on Sherman's beloved Cape Cod.

I loved the story! The author did a great job of taking the story through past to present to past and back again all the while being very easy to follow. I couldn't wait to find out what happened at the end and I wasn't disappointed!!! Excellent LOVED IT!!! Comment | Permalink | Was this review helpful to you? (Report this)
