First Sentence

"This brief biblical and historical treatise, which includes very properly some discussion of the technique of the social security plans of the Relief and Annuity Board for ministers, missionaries, and other denominational servants, local, state, and South-wide, was arranged for by the undersigned for the purpose of providing a suitable textbook for study classes in the various organizations of our denomination in the Southern Baptist Convention."
