Begun by Guillaume de Lorris, the poem was later continued by Jean de Meun.
"Vierhundertachtzig Exemplare Normalausgabe (numeriert von 1-480) in Samt gebunden und fünfzig Exemplare Vorzugsausgabe (numeriert von I-L) in Samt gebunden und mit vergoldeten Beschlägen versehen, und [zur Verfügung des Verlags] Les Sillons du Temps, Lyon, eintausend Exemplare. Zusätzlich zur Verkaufsauflage wurden für jeden der beiden Verlage noch vierzig unnumerierte Exemplare hergestellt, die als Belege Verwendung finden."
