Sheila s'inqui&te beaucoup de ce que ses amies pen- sent d'elle et elle est tres attentive ne pas montrer ses défauts. Elle sait bien que deux personnes l'habitent. La Sheila publique: intelligente, spirituelle, n'ayant peur de rien et la Sheila soigneusement cachée qui a peur des chiens, des araignées, du noir, des orages, qui ne sait pas nager ni jouer au yo-yo.
Malheureusement Ie personnage public élaboré par Sheila a des failles. Elle arrive tromper certaines per- sonnes mais elle échoue totalement avec sa nouvelle amie Minnie, championne de yo—yo, bonne nageuse et amie des chiens.
Alors doucement, Sheila commence admettre ses peurs. Elle finit méme par reconnaitre qu'elle ignore certaines choses. Au retour des vacances, Sheila aura découvert que dormir seule dans une chambre noire, partager la maison avec un chien, prendre ces terribles lecons de natation, n'était pas si désagréable et peut- étre meme plus agréable que ne I'aurait été le tant révé voyage Disneyland. I
