Goal for the internet:
I would like to see an entire library online one day, so that everyone will not have to spend money, time, and effort to search for/seek out books in-person and access information that should be available to them easily. Does this solve everything? No. However, it may alleviate poverty (by not needing money trying to access books) and improve education and the environment (less trees/locations/traveling needed) to some extent.
Adds information of out-of-print, books not found on the internet, and overall missing information here. Hoping to build the internet, as well as an entire library online that people can use to easily reference what they need. Hopes the world can freely take, create, and build the world without requiring money as an intermediary (I'm not against authors making money, nor people buying books, just fairness for those who don't want to (or can't) when it's legal to do so - like the copyright expired or there's permission by the author). Then we all can build from this knowledge, connecting dots and maybe even accomplishing what normally couldn't happen too.
Thank you:
- Mek, Lisa, Jessamyn, Tim, Drini, and others for helping me out
- Michel T. Talbot for creating awesome lists and Cat Ellington for edits of their work - and making me of aware of their larger presence than I previously knew about.
- others whom I didn't mention or see yet that I may provide one day.
