Ever since I could read I have been addicted to books about travel and mostly those which cover pre-modern periods. Before the internet and projects like Open Library I was reliant on finding interesting out of print works in second hand bookshops. When Ebay came along I had a new source but the advent of online libraries has provided me with an inexhaustible supply of treasures.
I live in Nerja in Spain and although I have not come across any work documenting the town or its people outside of living memory I am working on collecting old images and any references in old works and using my website to record them.
