I just wanna say ... mister, you have a lot of free time in your hand. I mean To be going into a random stranger's profile in a Internet Library page...
Also, Welcome to the free time club :D. I also happen to be heavily procrastinating. And I also belong in the, "my parents won't buy me books so here I am! in the internet" club. yupp quite a rebel I am..
But as you have stumbled here, lemme give you some tips:
1.Stay away from "books to borrow" most viewed books, the only books you will find there are weird erotica stuff.
Don't get me wrong here. I found some good reads there amidst the adult books but imagine walking to a bookstore and the first books they display are playboys and random pornography.
(Dont lose faith in humanity tho! Open library and the other libraries are not weird and they have some lovely reads!)
2.(If you are a casual reader) Don't rent a book for 14 days. Do it for 1 hour and it's more than enough time to completely emerge yourself into the book.
But if the book is for your classes then rent it for 14 days. Honestly the bookmarks don't help me that much and it has to be noted that this is in fact only a digital version of a book. So any important concept should be noted down in a physical notebook.
and read with visual adjustments.I usually just turn on the grayscale and the black and white thing. Also you might not need it but your eyes need break. Take a small break every 45 mins or so
bye random stranger/
