Work Description

He fled his abusive father, a Scottish clan chieftain, as a youth, vowing never to return. His English mother's family took him in, and he earned his rightful place in London's glamorous society. He claimed he had no heart, cruelly discarding his lovers, the most intelligent and attractive women of the day. He felt nothing when notified of his father's death, but a note several months later hastens him to Scotland, where the only way to protect his clan is to marry a girl he's never met ..
