Manuscript on paper (237 x 165 mm), written in brown ink with faded rubrication in red, 18 lines per page.

Watermark: flower (Briquet 6602, 1472-1490; Augsburg, Nuremberg; Ulm, Bamberg, Mainz); another watermark, a globe, is not in Briquet.

Bound in contemporary wooden boards. Damp stainings throughout; original leather spine and clasps missing, and sewing supports are broken. On leaf before title leaf 1 the following title is given in a later hand: Peri dalektn tn para tou Korinthou parekbltheisn Corinthus De dialectis lingua graecae exstat Latinè versus ... in calce lexici scapulae in fo. editi 1652 Lugdun Batavorum, Phkylidou Carmina Phocylidae carmina aurea exstant passim graeco-latinè edita. Front cover has shelf mark "446" on small round label, and title " ... G. Varie Ling." and, in another hand, "...inthus De dialectis ..."

Belonged to Jo. Angelus Augustonus de Robino in the last half of the 17th cent.; later came into possession of Joseph Sams, then to the booksellers John Thomas Payne and Henry Foss; bought from them by Thomas Phillips (ms. 10613) between 1823 and 1833.
