Name of printer supplied by Pollard.
English translation of the French version of Jean de Montlyard printed in Paris, 1597 under title: "Traicté paraenetique". The Spanish original, "Tratado paraenetico", attributed in error to José Teixeira and to Antonio Pérez, was probably never published.
Another edition in English published in London, 1598 under title: The Spanish pilgrime.
I.D. Dralymont is an anagram of Jean de Montlyard, who did the French translation.
This work is, in part, a reply to: Dell'unione del regno di Portugallo / by Geronimo Conestaggio, first printed in Genoa, 1585.
"An explication of the pilgrim vpon the proverb: if the cockerel had not come, the cocke has bene taken. And of the loyaltie of Avila & Simanchas in Castile: and of Celorico, and the castell of Coimbre in Portugall", p. 143-160, has separate caption title.
