Colophon on right side pages throughout the volume: "Illustrated and printed by Gunnar Kaldewey ... Mary Caponegro ... wrote a new version of the story from Daphne's point of view especially for this book project. The illustrations are printed with metal cuts based on drawings executed in Italy. The paper was made at the Kaldewey Press in Poestenkill, New York. 45 copies are bound in paper over board. 12 deluxe copies with an extra suite ot[sic] the illustrations are bound in leather from Japan. All bindings are made by Cornelia Ahnert of Chemnitz in Germany. Each copy is signed by the author and the printer."
