Wood engraved plates are printed in grey with one or two colours and hand-coloured. All are unsigned.

Plates are the same as those used in an 1854 and 1871 edition of this title published by Groombridge and Sons. See McLean D 0008 and McLean D 0012.

MASS copy 2: Bound in half green calf and marbled paper-covered boards. With ownership inscription: "Annie St. John Partridge". With presentation inscription: "For the children of Hazelhurst.". Bound with McLean D 0010.
