Le client, c'est Mark Sway, un jeune garçon de onze ans, audacieux, plein de ressources, un peu voyou, qui a bien besoin d'être protégé. Depuis qu'il a malencontreusement recueilli les confidences d'un avocat qui, avant de se suicider, lui a dit où se trouvait le corps du sénateur assassiné par la Mafia, la police et le FBI s'acharnent sur lui pour le faire parler. Mais Mark refuse de dire quoi que ce soit. Il a vu le film Le parrain. Il sait que "la Mafia n'oublie jamais" et qu'elle l'exécutera si elle le soupçonne d'être un peu trop bavard. Alors, pour se défendre, il engage une avocate au caractère fort et au cœur d'or qui, pour un dollar - toute sa fortune! -, accepte de le représenter et de le suivre dans cette affaire terrifiante.

Work Description
